Tara Clark - Board TreasurerTara has been a member of the Sunshine Board of Directors since 2003, serving as Treasurer since 2005. She was first introduced to Sunshine as part of a family Bible study led by Joel Hamernick in the late 1990's. At the time, Joel and Paula Hamernick were pursuing the rejuvenation of Sunshine's camp - Sunshine Cove. Tara and her husband, Tim, got involved with the ministry by volunteering for workdays at the camp. Tara had a 15-year career in commercial lending at the former First National Bank of Chicago, now J.P.Morgan Chase. She was vice president within their credit department, leaning to major retail companies. For the last 8 years, Tara has been home full-time, homeschooling her 3 children using a classical Christian curriculm. She is also a member of Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park. Tara has a B.A. in Economics from DePaul and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University in Chicago. Tara's interests include water skiing, sailing, and traveling with her family. She also enjoys reading historical literature as she prepares to teach world history to her children.
