Peter Blodgett - Youth Pastor

Peter (Pete) Blodgett serves as the Youth Pastor at Sunshine since 2003. He coordinates outreach and discipleship activities as well as assists within our tutoring programs. Initially, Pete served as a summer counselor at Sunshine Cove Christian Camp, where God made it clear that he was called to full-time urban youth ministry.

Pete and his wife, Nikki, along with their daughter, Jayla, live in one of the Sunshine apartments. They attend Christ Bible Church in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago.

Pete loves to see young people grow in their understanding of who God is, and to see that knowledge transform lives. He also enjoys sports of all kinds, listening to music (especially Christian hip-hop), and watching movies with his family.
