SEED TO GROW SCHOLARSHIP

Purpose of the scholarship: Our hope and desire is to see youth flourish into who God has created them to be by providing financial support to help them matriculate through and complete higher educational pursuit beyond high school.

The scholarship is for:
 
  • Current undergraduate college students who must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and proof of current registration at an accredited college/university.
  • Student enrolled in an accredited trade school or certificate program required for employment.

Students must be referred by a Sunshine Gospel Ministries employee/volunteer or student must have been former student/volunteer of any SGM program. The financial support through our scholarship award aims to help relieve some of the financial burden and let students know that they are not alone on their journey. Scholarship monies can be used to pay for tuition for classes, housing, books, and other related educational fees.
 
Deadlines:
Students can apply on a rolling basis of a given year by completing the application (which includes a video submission and recommendations). The SGM Scholarship committee will review submissions based on the dates below:

Awards:
  • Awards will be announced one week after the application review period ends. Awardees will receive details about when and how scholarship monies will be disbursed.
