Standing in Prayer and Solidarity

Sunshine Gospel Ministries offers our prayers and full support to those affected by the sudden termination of Community Violence Intervention (CVI) funding by the Department of Justice.

This issue is deeply important to us. Through our Flourishing Community Initiative, our own violence intervention program, we are committed to building safer, more just communities. While our program has not been directly impacted, many of our partners and affiliate organizations doing vital CVI work have been. Their loss is our collective loss.

We stand in solidarity with all who are organizing, advocating, and caring for their communities in the face of this harmful decision.

We pray for justice. We stand for peace. We support CVI.
